I Would Like To Introduce Myself

Hello, my name is Lori Santoni.
I am the sole owner of Featherwings Unique Line of Bird Toys. I have over 26 years experience with bird ownership and care. My feathered flock currently consists of a Congo African Grey and a Cinnamon Pearl Pied Cockatiel.

I am a member of the Baltimore Bird Fanciers Club and subscribe to Bird Talk Magazine, Companion Parrot Quarterly, and have an wide variety of parrot health, avian care, and various species specific reference books in my personal library

Over the years, I have gained the knowledge of what birds love to play with. And most importantly, I regularly research the latest professional opinions on the safety and design of safe bird toys. Yes, I am very concerned with safety and the uniqueness of each bird toy I design. The toys are reviewed by a well known local avian veterinarian. Over 66% of my sales are to regular repeat customers.

Each toy is handcrafted with loving care by myself, upon placement of an order. I do not farm out orders to others as my standards and expectations are high. No Featherwings bird toy is ever mass produced (exception: wholesalers orders) and no toy is every made in advance only to hang on a wall display or sit on a shelf collecting dust until purchased. Only freshly made toys are sold which is quite unusual in the bird toy industry. I believe in treating each customer with upmost respect and courtesy.
